A life in cashmere
CashmereRED is a luxury cashmere boutique at 221 E Colorado Ave in downtown Telluride, Colorado. Founded by Caci Grinspan in 2006, we specialize in Scottish cashmere, our own knit-to-order label, and curated designer goods for women, men, and the home.
Meet Caci
Caci Grinspan’s love of fashion started early, inspired by her grandmother’s chic style. Throughout her life, art has always been her creative outlet. After studying Studio Art in college and years of extensive travel (including a stint in Carrara, Italy!), Caci fell in love with the mountains of Telluride, Colorado. To her, art, style, and an appreciation of nature are inextricably linked.
In 2006, Caci fused her passions together with the opening of CashmereRED, a high-quality concept boutique that specializes in luxury cashmere and curated fine goods… right in the heart of downtown Telluride!

2004
While waiting tables at the New Sheridan Chop House, Caci met a Scottish gentleman retiring from the cashmere business. She cold-called mills in Scotland and flew over to tour them herself, the start of her yearly sourcing trips.

About our brand
As a lifelong artist and designer, Caci launched her own in-house clothing label named after the store. Using cashmere from the leading mills in Scotland, Caci designs seasonal knit-to-order collections in Telluride, featuring the world’s most luxurious cashmere in timeless silhouettes and rich hues that are designed to be lived in and well-loved.
Crafted with advanced 3-D knitting technologies in the USA and finished by hand, the resulting garments are durably constructed, irresistibly soft, and meant to be passed down for generations to come.

Who founded CashmereRED?
Caci Grinspan, an artist and designer who studied Studio Art and spent time in Carrara, Italy, founded CashmereRED in Telluride in 2006. She still designs the store’s in-house knit-to-order label.
