About Caci Grinspan & CashmereRED
Caci Grinspan’s love for cashmere began in childhood, inspired by her grandmother’s exquisite collection—particularly a vibrant intarsia sweater that sparked a lifelong passion. With a background in Studio Art from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, specializing in stone carving, Caci developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design.
Her journey took her across the world, from studying in Carrara, Italy, to skiing in Telluride, Colorado. It was there that a serendipitous encounter reignited her fascination with fine knitwear, leading her to Scotland, where she partnered with one of the oldest and most prestigious cashmere mills.
Founded on a commitment to quality, CashmereRED embodies Caci’s belief that “when you start with the best, there is no turning back.”
