A cropped chunky crew neck from Sphere One, knit in a soft cashmere and lambswool blend and dyed in Corian, one of the brand’s bespoke colors: a warm cream scattered with tiny colored flecks. Deep rib at the neck, cuffs and hem gives it weight and structure. Side splits with a longer back hem keep the cropped shape easy to tuck, half-tuck or leave loose.

Wear it over a crisp white shirt with wide-leg trousers, or with high-waisted jeans and boots for a snowy morning walk into town. Designed in Ireland by Lucy Downes, it’s a cream sweater with more character than most, and the flecks hide everyday wear beautifully.
